Congregations across Lawrence will be hosting over 100 small group discussions in October to discuss three topics:
- Homelessness
- Mental Illness
- Life-Altering Traumas experienced by Children
Velocity Church will provide two small group options for its members in October:
- Monday, October 26 from 7 - 9 pm at the Velocity Office, or
- Tuesday, October 27 from 7 - 9 at the same location.
We encourage everyone planning to attend to watch a short video beforehand which can be found at: www.justicemattersinkansas.org/video. It will give you a quick overview of the three initiatives Justice Matters has committed to address and provide you an opportunity to reflect on how it impacts you and the people you love before you share your thoughts at the small group discussion.
