Keith Hickman, the Director of Continuing Education for the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP), will be joining us via a conference call to speak about the IIRP;s work and how to successfully implement restorative practices in schools.
The IIRP has worked to implement restorative practices in schools across the country through their SaferSanerSchools program. Here's a recently-released research briefing on this program; after two years of study, researchers found that restorative practices were successful in reducing suspensions.
