Members of the Justice Matters Steering Committee for Alternatives to Incarceration will be presenting to the Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC). The CJCC has taken responsibility for developing alternatives to incarceration and addressing the disproportionate numbers of minorities who are over-represented in the Douglas County Jail. The Council will likely meet from 11 - noon at the Courthouse. A post-meeting discussion will take place at 12 at a nearby location to be announced.
