Join us in Finally Answering the Call for Affordable Housing in Lawrence!
Justice Matters will be bringing large numbers of people to a Lawrence City Budget hearing on April 28, 2016 at 5:45 pm in front of City Hall (location tentative) to call on our city leaders to:
- Include 15 million over the next 5 - 10 years in the Capital Improvement Plan to create permanently affordable housing
- Put 1.5 million in the 2017 City Budget to create permanently affordable housing
- Start first by eliminating the Transitional Housing waiting list
